Bests & Worsts Reviews from Amazon

I bought these as renewed for the same reason many of you probably have...We don't want to spend 100 bucks on earbuds, but we want the features. Like you I expected that per the Amazon Renewed Guarantee "refurbished and open-box products that have been professionally inspected and tested to work and look like new by Amazon-qualified and performance-managed suppliers. The inspection and testing process typically includes a full diagnostic test, replacement of any defective parts, and a thorough cleaning process carried out by the supplier, or by Amazon." Sorry but not even close. Fingerprints all over the box and plastic, but worst of all was the earwax that came along with the installed ear tips...Disgusting!! A full set of new tips were included, but come on.. Would you trust that the rest of the process was completed if they couldn't even clean them properly!! Never again AMAZON.. I also powered them on and each earbud had a different firmware version. I was not able to get the left earbud to update at all. So the renewal process was to take a return...put it in a box, and send it to me as RENEWED.. Nothing was tested, nothing was cleaned. I've been contacted by AnkerDirect, however they wanted the serial number, etc. and I had already taken these back to Kohls for a refund. Be interesting to see how they proceed... Stay tuned :)
