When you first get this product, it is exactly as advertised. Keeps the car cool. You will need to purchase suction cups to hold it in place because it is a bit small for most cars. At first the material seems firm, but after a month or so, the product will deteriorate quickly. It became flimsy but I was okay with it as long as it served its purpose, then after a year or so of using it, the material became so flakey and started creating a mess on the dashboard of my car. That's when I had to throw it away. I requested a replacement but no response. I figured I'd post these pics to give you a reasonable expectation of what your sunshade will be like soon after purchase.
