I purchased Yucca Intensive for my GSD, she has some stiffness in her joints but she was otherwise healthy. Azmira advertise Yucca Intensive as an outstanding, proven safe, all natural supplement, but they don't tell the truth. I gave my dog only half of the recommended dosage and sure that's why she is alive today, Yucca Intensive gave us a really bad experience. My dog was enormously thirsty while taking it and had several accidents in the house, she also had signs of vestibular disease with head tilt and Ataxia (lack of coordination without weakness or involuntary spasms - in other words, stumbling and staggering around). And if this wasn't enough, after few more days, within hours she became paralyzed in her hind legs and couldn't stand without assistance. In the beginning she had minor symptoms, upset stomach with small amounts of blood in her stool, runny nose and eyes, and her skin problems (never had it before) tells me that maybe the additive in Yucca Intensive was a culprit for some of the toxic symptoms. Instead of safe natural vitamine C and E Azmira has used Potassium Sorbate as a stabilizer and I found interesting information, quote: ... sorbate or sorbic acids, can cause skin and eye irritation ... Search *Potassium Sorbate side effects* and look at Buzzle.com article *Are There Potassium Sorbate Dangers and Side Effects*. Of course I've stopped giving her the supplement and the water consumption is back to normal with no more accidents. Her head tilt gradually went away and by now she is able to walk few steps, but she is unable to stand up without help. I hope all these side effects will go away, if not I've killed my own dog and best friend because they told me this is a safe natural product, well, I won't say natural at all because in fact Yucca Intensive contains the possible harmful additive Potassium Sorbate. Here is another case, quote from Canada's Pet Information Centre forum: ... the past 6 months or so she has been gulping down water like it is going out of style, and while she sleep now she has accidents all over the house. The only medicine she is on is called super joint enhancer from 1-800-pet meds and a liquid medicine called Yucca Intensive ! ... I've tried to share my experience about the dangers of Yucca Intensive in reviews (three different online stores) but the sellers rejected my warnings. I guess that's the reason why I found only positive feedback for Yucca Intensive before I placed my order and on this way, buyers don't know about the signs of side effects and how to look for them at an early stage.
