Update: 12/2/22 - This pump has worked for maybe 20 or 30 total hours of RV use over the least few years, but now the pressure switch has failed. The pump slowly cycles and wont shut off. I am replacing it with a heavier duty model from another mfr. Lowering to 2 star rating. Should have gotten a clue from my initial experience. (Original review) After much research, I chose this pump for my total RV renovation project. I was greatly disappointed after installing the entire PEX plumbing system and painstakingly checking and assuring that all joints and connections were sealed, my brand-new pump would not shut off. NOT expecting the new pump to be bad, I disassembled several sections (of expensive PEX) trying to find leaks. But there were none. I then read the 1-star reviews of this unit here on Amazon and saw the review that stated someone had the same issue and tightening all the screws on the head unit had solved it. I removed my pump, tightened all the head screws, and the problem was solved. If you buy this unit, BE SURE TO TIGHTEN ALL HEAD SCREWS BEFORE INSTALLING. Save yourself HOURS of wasted time.
