I've been using this vacuum/steamer for two months now (after actually purchasing it at full price, not getting it for free/discount!) and the more I use it, the less I like it. Yes, it can vacuum and steam mop at the same, but it doesn't do either function very well. Advertising this as being for pet houses is also very misleading - it is NOT good for pet messes! I have 2 large dogs, 2 cats, and hardwood/ceramic tile floors. The vacuum is very low power, there's only a small area in the middle front of the base with suction, so you have to run over dirt at the right angle/direction to actually pick it up. Pet fur gets stuck and accumulates in the soft stationary bristles meant to funnel dirt toward the suction area (there are no moving parts on the bottom), so at least once or twice per use I have to stop and pull the chunks of fur out of the bristles. Forget about cat litter - this won't pick it up at all. The steam mop pads are soft and aren't abrasive enough to actually scrape anything off the floor. For actual messes I have to set it to high steam and run over the mess multiple times to get it up. This also doesn't have any attachments or detachments, which means it won't do: furniture/pet beds, under/behind furniture, narrow corners, or stairs. I wish I had saved my money and just bought a good stick vacuum and separate mop system.
