Terrible, terrible, terrible! This author can write a lovely sentence and paint an enticing word picture of her chosen setting - the first couple of chapters had me happy and hopeful. But THEN! Then the actual story got going and I was shouting at my Kindle, saying WHAT? Don't be an idiot! Holy COW ridiculous leading lady, you can't possibly be having this conversation in your head about the attractive obvious love interest falsely accused of murder!! YOUR WERE THERE! so know he didn't do it - yet you have doubts and concerns and OH GOOD GRIEF!!! Stupid stupid stupid. And it only got worse from there. The writing is great, the story is a bad. I want my time back. Time wasted on a "cozy mystery" that turned out to be a crumby illogical mess. BAD!!!
