We have 5 dogs, my oldest, a Lhasa Apso, has a fairly sensitive stomach. He ended up with HGE(Hemorrhagic Gastroenteritis), was lethargic, ran a fever and would just stand a stare, acting confused after having these treats for about a week. None of our dogs ever have bathroom accidents in the house, we have a dog door and they take advantage of that. Three nights in a row, my husband and I woke up to find huge piles of diarrhea in the hallway, with what looked like blood in them. He also ALWAYS lets us know if he needs to go out during the night, he just wasn’t himself. These treats were the only “new thing” he had gotten. We ended up with a $200 vet bill and he will be on antibiotics for 14 days. He’s doing much better but it could have easily not turned out as well as it has. The other 4 weren’t bothered by them but we just threw them away, our sweet babies are our family and we just aren’t willing to risk making any of them sick.
