Hoping to get it working
Final entry: I've lived with this thing for a few months now and it just keeps getting worse. Where is the zero stars rating? I love laying under this thing and pulling the electrical cables for the legs to reboot it. It gives me a break from work. Simply unplugging the power and plugging it back in doesn't work. But, at the age of 62, it's nice to flex a bit. I can adjust the height twice, maybe even three times, before having to guess the sequence of cable plug/unplug-plug to get it to work again. It's okay. I should lay on the floor more often. The cat loves it. But, hey, what's really fun is getting to the desk in the morning, setting my coffee down, and hitting the "Down" button to lower the desk from the previous days standing height. And one leg suddenly stops working. And my coffee ends up on the floor. But, honestly, it only happened once. Because I know now not to set my coffee on my desk. Oh, darn. too late to return this POS. ************************************************************************************* 1. At one point, after about 15 tries of doing the manual reset, we successfully got the "27.6" read out suggesting the system was ready. Hit the Up arrow and only the left side went up. Stopped hitting the Up arrow. Hit the Down arrow and the left side went up to its greatest height. Nothing will bring down the left side. Switched the cables at the control box. Now the right side seems to have power but the Manual Reset will not complete. You can hear the motor on the right side make an attempt and stop. It's stuck in this position. Constantly getting an "E3" error message but, after a hundred tries, I can't find a loose connection. Emailed the company as they have no phone number for customer support. Looking forward to writing glowing reviews of their customer support. We'll see. Update: It only took 36 hours to get am email response. Which had an attached video of what to do. Which actually worked. I've attached the video. SO. Don't plug the legs in to the back of the control box. Do plug the control box in so it has power. Hit the down button like you're trying to complete the factory reset (Noted in the instructions). Then you get the "E3" error message. Now, plug the legs into the back of the control box. Unplug the power to the control box. Wait over 30 seconds. Plug the control box back in. It worked from there
