I should have read the other reviews before I purchased. Despite saying it's 5.1 all over the listing, all over the packaging, and on the physical device itself: the driver only supports LMP 9 (Which oddly enough *is* mentioned in the details...) The Bluetooth SIG's assigned number for LMP versions specify that 9 is for Bluetooth Core Specification 5.0, and that 10 is for Bluetooth Core Specification 5.1. Perhaps the *hardware* itself might be certified to meet 5.1 standards, but if you can't use it as such, that pretty much sums up as false advertising to me.
