I will start off with I love the size, I love the heaviness and the enamel coating for easy cleanup. I have had mine about a year & a half and might use once a month if that. It developed spider cracks at the bottom after a few uses and a chip on the exterior even though it sits on a shelf by itself and i never heat it up above medium. Today I had a meat spaghetti sauce simmering for 3 hours and the bottom was black. It makes no sense. Now its stained. It is still usable but it isnt the lifelong pot i expected. IF Le creuset doesnt do this i would glady pay the higher price after this mess but i have no experience with their products and dont know if i will ever plunk down the cash to see! :)
