The watch crystal is very fragile and shatters easily. A search online shows that there are many people with this problem. The watches shatter from the curved edge inward. To me, this looks like a design/materials flaw. And then you need to have apple repair it and that costs almost as much as a new apple watch. I loved my watch for the few days that I had it before the crystal shattered. BUT I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND BUYING ONE UNTIL THE CRYSTAL PROBLEM IS DEALT WITH OR UNTIL THEY ARE WILLING TO REPAIR THE CRYSTAL FREE OF CHARGE. Update: Apple handled the problem. They picked it up via FedEx, determined that it needed to be replaced, and sent me a new watch, all within 5 days. I am VERY HAPPY WITH THE SERVICE FROM APPLE.
