This was my second order for this product. I was so pleased with my first set of towels that I ordered 2 more sets a couple of months later. I would have given my first set a 5 star review, hands down. Sadly the second order was not the same quality. Yes, I checked to make sure I ordered from the same vendor. That was my first step. They were described as “the original Turkish towel” Well the second set had been sold out. When they arrived, I noticed slight variations in the look, but nothing major. The color was paler and the sides were finished off differently. No problem, I thought. After washing, the new ones ruffled on the edges so bad that they cannot be the towels left out allowed to be seen. They have to be the ones in the drawer that only get pulled out to do their job. The only problem with this is that the ruffles take up more than their share of space in the drawer. They are now sitting in my laundry room. I would return them, but I threw out all packaging right away, because I knew I loved these towels. Lesson learned. I feel that I got the A-class the first time, then the knock-off version the second. Beware of the old reviews, the vendor has changed its manufacturing processes. What a shame, a great tea towel is hard to find. Sadly, I still want more of the first ones, but am gun shy to try another vendor.
