Back belts don't work, PERIOD.
The over-hyped, false claims that this overblown snake oil salesman is making on television about this product is a monumental joke. Let me explain. I have bought and used every sort of back belt since 1969. Essentially, they don't work. If they did, why do people spend BILLIONS on other forms of back relief if they could just buy one of these "blow up dolls" and achieve the same thing? Back belts have been used for decades to relieve temporary back pain. BUT THIS KIND OF PAIN RELIEF IS JUST AN ILLUSION. By artificially stiffening the spine, it momentarily takes the stress off the spine, but this relief is only temporary and only results in more pain later. The only true way of permanently and properly alleviating chronic back pain is by exercise and physical therapy. Unbeknownst to most back sufferers, it is the abdominal muscles that take painful stress off the back, therefore, only by strengthening the stomach muscles can one truly reduce back pain and improve your overall back health. Daily stretching or anything that increases your core strength will accomplish this important task. But over-priced back belts of the kind that this television quack is pushing often do just the opposite -- creating even more pain down the line by actually WEAKENING the stomach muscles by relying on artificial lumbar supports that have been pushed on the unwary public for years. The only thing that has given me any kind of lasting pain relief is gentle yoga stretching, walking, and deep tissue massage. I've been using the McKenzie Method for many years now, and it's really worked wonders. When I lived in California, I had access to a pool where I could swim everyday (the absolute BEST exercise for back pain). But back belts don't work, drugs don't work, and fake TV ads may make these people wealthy, but it will make your problem even worst in the long run, and this is no simple theory. Any physician will tell you the same thing. Do yourself a favor by exposing frauds like this. If you want to live the rest of your life by wearing cumbersome, sweaty back belts like this 24/7, it's a free country. But the moment you stop wearing it, not only are you where you were when you first started, but only in far, far worse shape. Start doing simple yoga stretches, or even low impact activities like walking that will strengthen the stomach area. It is the only way to true, lasting pain relief. Just KEEP MOVING!!!
