I have used these OXO scrubbers for probably close to 10 (if not longer) years. It was always a favorite of mine and one of those kitchen gadgets I couldn't be without. When I first started using these scrubbers, they would last for what seemed like forever...probably well over 9 months. Honestly, the only reason I would replace it would be because the bristles had gotten so frayed and soiled from extended use. About a year and a half ago or so, something in the design for how the bottom scrubber part attaches to the soap dispensing section changed, and it has been a BAD change. As you can see in the picture, the extension of the soap dispensing section that screws into the scrubber breaks easily and quickly. The scrubber in this picture is only TWO WEEKS OLD!!!!!! I am not one to generally write reviews (good or bad) but this is something that really disappointed me and I feel needs to be brought to OXO's attention. I have one more new scrubber here at home to use. If this one breaks as quickly and easily, I am DONE and will have to find a new brand of kitchen scrubber.
