I love this case, but mine only lasted 6 months. Pieces of the plastic iPad holder kept breaking off. One corner, then a month later another corner, and a month after that the side edge split. It still holds my iPad, but the plastic edge flops around. I don't carry it around. I only move it from the side table to my chair. I guess that was too brutal for it. 6/2/18 Ztotop responded to the email they asked to send them. They offered to replace the case by using a gift card. I had already ordered a 2nd one, but Amazon told me to return it and buy another one using the gift card, which I did. Ztotop reps told me they've fixed the failing plastic, so we'll shall see. I give them 5 stars for answering my email and then replacing the case. I won't change my review on the case until I know if it is actually better. Having good customer service is nearly as good as having a really great product. Design wise the case is already excellent, but the plastic Ipad holder failed a little at a time. 11/5/18 I've been using the new case since they sent it to me in June so it's been 5 months. So far the corners have not broken off. I still really like the case, and if the corners resist failing, then this is a very good case that came with very good customer service. I'll update this in another 6 months or so. 3/13/19 The case is still like new. So it's holding up well, and it's still one of the best cases I've had. 7/17/19 The case continues to look and work well. So it's been one year without any problems. Excellent. 11/15/19 I had to buy a new Ipad (same version as the previous one) so I put it in the same case which is still performing well. I like better than any other case I've owned. I'm leaving the rating as 1 star because that is how it started, and now that a lot of people have read the review and look for updates, I don't want to move the review into the jungle where they can't find it. 11/27/2020 Covid hasn't stopped this case! It's still working well. It's still my favorite case. No signs of failure. 5/2022 Still working fine. I'm aging faster than the case. It's been almost 4 years. 9/2022 The case developed a small tear on the inside along the hinge line. It's not major. Rather than buy a new case, I bought a new iPad and the Ztotop case for it. I'll keep the older iPad for a backup protected by it's current case. We spent 4 good years together before having to retire both of them. We're all getting older.
