This book was horrible. It was an atrocious ending to an otherwise excellent series. I have loved the Iron Druid series since it first came out. With this book Hearne dumped on everything that he has written before. He took beloved characters and made them wooden and boring. The love of his life is mad because he wanted her safe so now she leaves him forever? Lame. All of the gods that he worshiped now hate him. Lame. He stopped the end of the world so now all the Norse god hate him. Lame. He is the M'FING Iron Druid!!!! He is responsible for bringing druidry back to the world. Atticus did not deserve his fate. I will never read anything again by this author.
