Be warned! This mixture has a higher ratio of soluble to insoluble fiber then Metamucil and many other similar psyllium husk products. If I had know this I wouldn't have purchased this product, because one of the main benefits of typical psyllium husk products is there balance between both soluble and insoluble fiber. That is missing here. I expect they are using only the cheaper insoluble parts of the seed and not the whole thing. That would explain the cheap price compared to competitors... Also, this package was not as described on it's Amazon page. The package and label are different. The package I got says "Soluble Fiber" in large print--the one in the picture does not have this. If they'd had a correct picture of what they actually shipped me, I would not have bought it. However, when I compare the "nutrition facts" label information--it is the same. So it's the product is the same, only the package they have in the picture is not as forthcoming in it's "front of the package" information then what they sent out. All I can say is: review the "nutrition facts" information carefully before buying and make sure this is what you want...
