The Ninja is great when you first use it but quite soon the blades dull and don't work nearly as well. I expected them to dull but not in such a short amount of time. I also found that with all the parts and nooks and crannies, food you've blended gets caught up in the tight corners and thoroughly cleaning it becomes difficult. These areas are in the lid as well as where the 2 blades connect. It gets gross if you can't get in there properly and I really shouldn't have to soak my blender in bleach to clean it out after each use or after every few uses to get the last bits of smoothie out. It's really gross and I found the rubber parts need to be bleached (around the lid) because they get rank. The smaller prep blender works great but again, the food gets caught in the lid and it's really hard to get out. It's really annoying and I wouldn't recommend this to anyone.
