Having used the Cuisinart regular ice cream machine for years, I was excited to try the Mix It In Soft Serve. I began to question my decision when I had to wash all the components before using. Wow, there are a lot of little pieces. I prepared my ice cream mixture and began the process of churning. I had two little ones anxiously awaiting to try their first ever soft serve ice cream. I started to dispense the ice cream and it "blopped" out in 1 1/2 inch x 1/2 inch. It did not flow from the machine smoothly, and took forever to fill a regular size ice cream cone. We had sprinkles and mini chocolate chips for mixing in. They clogged immediately and had to add them afterwards. After that disaster, I had to take the entire thing apart again, and hand wash all those pieces again! If you tried to make a bowl of ice cream like shown in the picture...the product that came out first will be LONG melted before you get a serving size that large!
