The actual mixer is great, fast, lots of speeds, and could be way more powerful if it had decent beaters. This happened to mine (see pic), the 3rd time I used it. The actual spoke of the beater separated from the shaft. I have had this 32 days, so it was not eligible for return. So I called Amazon, they called Black and Decker, and I have a new set of beaters on the way. BUT, I would not buy this product again if I had the chance, on the sole reason of such shoddy beaters. What a crappy way to ruin a great mixer! UPDATE: They sent me new beaters, and first day I made a cake, and one of the beaters bent. I called and got my money back. Do not buy this model, look for something with thicker beaters!!
