I bought this about 7 months ago. I too was very satisfied with this purchase initially. Easy to set up and get going. Lots of features and I love the Atomic Clock idea. The screen looked washed out except from a direct view, but at this price point that is all you can expect. However, after 7 months of service my unit is failing. I replaced both sets of batteries and reset the main unit according to the printed directions. They will connect indoors next to each other but when i separate them for more that a few feet the connection is lost. My Atomic Clock indicator will no longer connect. In addition, my units display is looking very washed out even when directly viewed. Not recommended.
