I loved all of the previous books, but man.... the first 7 books released in 2 years which was great, than we had to wait 2 more to get this? I re-read 7 in the past week to get ready! Spoiler alert. The book spends the first 1/3 going over the ranking up from the last book, then next 1/2 making rudimentary weapons and craping on himself, then the last 10% in a fight scene that ends the book in the middle of a mission that has barely even started. Literally no plot development. At all. The writing is what I was used to, but man am I disappointed, unless this was some crazy joke and the second half of the book shows up tomorrow on my tablet. I would wait to see if/when the next installment is out, and what it looks like before getting this one, if you have not yet.
