We live in a very dry climate in the southwest. Typically I use 2-4 sheets a load of conventional dryer sheets to prevent static. I know it's not great, but the static is truly very bad here and this is the only way I had found to resolve it. Recently, however, I gave woolen dryer balls a shot - not expecting much - and was thrilled that I could reduce to one sheet per load and the woolen balls made the laundry super soft and wrinkle-free. I tried without the one sheet and I still had static, sadly. Hoping I could still do better, I decided to try a more natural product. These came in the mail and as I opened the box I was bombarded with a powerful Honeysuckle scent. I really like honeysuckle, and it doesn't seem too common nowadays so I was happy with this. Note: I am not hyper-sensitive to odors most of the time. I was so excited to try these, but sadly, they just didn't work a lick for static-fighting - not the tiniest bit - and I noticed no difference in softness compared to just the woolen dryer balls. Willing to try, I attempted to use 2 and then 3 sheets a load - figuring these were better for the environment than my old sheets - but sadly my clothes came out in a storm of static each time. I wanted very much for these to work, but in my circumstances they do not. The scent is lovely to me though, so I am using these sheets stashed in the closet, drawers, and shoes. At least they will not go to waste, but as dryer sheets I cannot really recommend them unless you happen to live in a climate that doesn't cause static in your clothing. So, one star for effectiveness as a product (in my case - yours may differ) and bumping up a star for the wonderful scent. I very much do wish this product worked for my needs, but liking the scent I am tempted to try some of the other products in this fragrance, as I very much like Mrs. Meyers for soap and cleaning sprays. Maybe I will try the laundry detergent. :-) Sorry for the harsh review, but it is meant to aid others in making wise choices for them, so hope it helps none the less. Good luck!
