Pros and cons. Pros are that there is good suction. (Better than my Hoover canister vacuum that is only 3-4 years old) The vacuum is small and lightweight and very easy to maneuver. I bought it for solid surface floors that are used brick and sort of uneven, (rustic) and it does a very good job. I have a dog and 2 cats and it picks the hair up very well. The canister removes and empties easily. The cord is the shortest I have ever had in a vacuum, but I use an 8’ extension cord which works fine for me. I did call Eureka to try to find a “brush only” sweeper part and they said the vacuum is so new that they do not have any information on accerrories for it. (That was after their rep told me numerous time that the model number I gave him did not exist. I was reading from the sticker on the vacuum so I had the correct model. He later confirmed with his supervisor that it does exist...duh!) I find that hard to believe as I have seen this vacuum for months as I have been looking to buy for awhile. (I did buy the one that Amazon recommended as a “purchased with”, but the end of the wand and attachment opening are the same size, so if you are tempted, don’t get their recommended attachment. It was returned. So product function is good. If the cord was longer, and if I could find a simple brush attachment for this vacuum I would have given it 5 Stars. I give Eureka a big fat zero for not knowing their product. Update-After one year and four months, this vacuum died. There were no instructions, I checked, and it would not even pick up small lightweight items like papers scraps etc. Or the litter that comes off of my cats paws. (Small amount as they have a mat that catches most of it, before the cats get to the floors. Suction was good at the beginning, but over the last year got just got wimpy. I take care of my stuff so filter was checked and cleaned when needed, and I only have solid surface floors so I expected this vacuum to last. I do not recommend this product.
