Worse yet, the material used to seal the package ...
These batteries sold by National Deals appear to be fake. Package printing is smudged and contains no date or batch codes. Worse yet, the material used to seal the package is a metal foil which is electrically conductive (tested on ohm meter) and which could bridge the POS and NEG terminals of the battery. On the majority of flat lithium terminals that I see now, the NEG terminal is protected by a peel off insulation label. No such protection on these. Shorted terminals on lithium batteries generally produces sub-optimal outcomes.
