Listen. I don't care how many 5 star reviews you have seen on this desk. READ THIS REVIEW. Save yourself the trouble, don't buy this. It's not good. This desk makes Ikea look like kindergarten shape sorting toys. Unless you've had 10 years of meditation practice, you aren't ready to assemble this hot garbage. Allow me to explain. 1) The box will arrive looking like it was a faulty return from a previous customer, and most likely it's because it damn sure is. I can guarantee that some of these pieces will arrive scratched, dented, rusted, and dusty. It will also come with so much unnecessary Styrofoam that a blizzard will be made by just opening it. 2) The manual and steps provided are made to make you work against yourself. Steps 1, 2 and 3 are easy, it sets a good impression. Then step 4 hits you with screws that don't align in holes. Then step 5+ has you twisting screws upwards, against limited areas, in between crevices all with with a 2 inch long allen wrench and this is all could've been slightly easier if you did it in the prior steps (if even slightly). 3) The final kick in the face is when you have to fasten the keyboard platform with a flat head screwdriver they provide you which is too big to fasten the phillip-head screws they also provided you. 4) At least 2 or more of the screws you receive that are meant to be screwed with an allen wrench will not be screwable since the imprint will be dented or misshapen. 5) The swing around desk is NOT sturdy, so don't plan on putting a monitor or anything else on it unless you plan to reinforce it somehow because the wheels will make it roll and the desk will not stand straight. 6) Need a replacement part? Call their phone number so that they can tell you that it needs to be submitted through e-mail on their website so that a ticket can be made and wait.... If you want to have a crappy desk and a crappy day at the same time? Buy this and assemble it.
