If I see one more series that promotes a terrible excuse for a relationship I'm going to explode. Is this really what passes for modern literature, and worse, for romance? What happened to having a caring, non-abusive man for a love interest? Or a woman who's not a spineless cardboard cutout for a lead? Get this through your heads, people: no one should want a relationship like this! This isn't romantic, it's romanticized abuse. Anyone who believes otherwise is spitting in the faces of those who live in these kinds of relationships.
