Did nothing to deter anything - the on/off switch is a joke - and the best I can tell it never worked at all - and was charged for several days After posting this I was contacted both by phone and e-mail from the company - and they discussed why this product wasn't effective in my situation - and then unsolicited processed a refund, even though in the discussion I said a refund wasn't necessary. In essence, a class act by a classy vender
