***BUYER BEWARE - SEE CUSTOMER PHOTOS*** Long story somewhat short...We originally purchased a non wireless collar at a local store and decided it wasn't very effective after a week. So naturally I took to Amazon to research an affordable wireless version. After browsing reviews from various products we settled on this one. We received this product on 22 April 2014 and now here we are on 30 May 2014, 38 days later (8 days after return eligibility) and this collar has completely malfunctioned and on top of that caused physical harm to our German Shepherd (GSD). This in itself should hopefully steer a potential buyer reading this to move on to another product. 1. The return policy is understandable (30 days) through Amazon fulfilled orders, but the "actual" seller has no additional policy for returns/refunds/etc. which means money wasted after only 30 days. 2. I can only assume that the collar either (A) Some sort of electronic malfunction or (B) the battery discharged for some reason causing the discoloration to our GSD's hair. Additionally, there was a white substance around the base of the prongs that leads me to assume the battery discharged at the very least. There is also two open wounds consistent with the location of where the prongs were mounted on the collar itself. The collar was only charged three times with the last charge being 3 days ago. This has done more harm than it has been of any good use. I would STRONGLY NOT SUGGEST this product and move on to another one. ***SEE CUSTOMER PHOTOS*** I've attached "customer photos" depicting the injury to our GSD and the now completely useless collar.
