My initial impression of the Kindle DX was great. Out of the box it looks good, is easy to read and the downloading couldn't be easier. However, at the moment the range of available books is limited. The PR on the number of books is, I suspect, high as when I searched there were often multiple versions of books such as 20,000 Leagues under the Sea - a great book but more than one version.... Also, after only three weeks my DX decided to go blank and remained so for two weeks before I was able to get it back online. Overall, great concept but I would wait until it matures before recommending it to my friends.
