I needed a single-use drive to transfer a 111GB file to a friend. Purchased the 512GB drive for good measure and attempted to transfer the zipped file from my iMac to the drive. I formated the drive (exfat) and it showed a full 512Gb, however upon attempting to transfer, the drive showed over 7 days of transfer time and stopped after 16Gb. I do not recommend this drive. In contrast, I formatted a 128Gb SanDisk Pro microSD card and the full 111Gb transfer to the card was under 25min without error.
