I rarely given poor reviews of items I buy as my feelings are that most of the time, the sellers are honest but you're going to get the occasional duds but I purchased this based on the product description and on arrival, I opened one can and was disappointed with the product. First off, the packaging appeared undamaged on visual inspection. The cans did not have dents or scratches. A can chosen at random had the vacuum seal intact with the hiss as the pop top was pulled off. The product however was not in the form of patties as the product image on the label depicted but was a semi liquid slurry similar to Hormel's potted meat product but more liquid. I recall reading an autobiography of a WWII british veteran stationed in Singapore who described how their corned beef could be poured out of the can from the heat and humidity. It was kind of like that. Out of curiosity, I did the taste test and found the flavor to be palatable similar to potted meat. So I fried s few dollops of the sausage and found that it could not be cooked into the shape that I molded it into but just fell apart. Chilling it in the fridge overnight did not work either. In summation, it's too much bother to ship the 11 cans back due to the present health crisis, so I'll just keep it and serve it to visitors whom I don't like.
