Bought this leash for our puppy who is still actively growing - 40lbs at the moment but we purchased the "Large" model that is supposed to be for dogs up to 110lbs. Worked well for ~3 months, great for hiking and trail walking where he could wander a little. Unfortunately, a few days ago our dog was running ahead a little and as he got to the end of the 26ft the leash start to pull and then snapped - ripped right above the clip. For a leash that should hold dogs almost triple his size, it certainly shouldn't rip in half with the slightest tug. Didn't show any signs of wear before the rip. Still trying to work through their customer service for a replacement..
