Easy setup, nice app. But it insists on have background location permission (probably for temperature alerts). You must grant it full location permission to install the sensor AND IT ACTUALLY CHECKS THAT YOU DIDN'T JUST GIVE IT TEMPORARY ACCESS. I don't have any reason to disbelieve the company that they don't currently sell your location information, but I don't plan on verifying that every month. If you install the sensor and then revoke continuous location permission when you start the app it will try to force you to re-enable it. It will actually give up and run fine if you are persistent enough and don't mind the yellow warning banner. I paid for the product (a premium price in fact) and this isn't a free app where I'm trading my privacy in order to use it. Get with the program and if someone isn't granting you full access to location just tell them that temperature alarms won't work, stop trying to force them to do something they clearly don't want to.
