For the price, this file cabinet is fine and it looks nice. It was easy to put together with the instructions and didn't take too long. Unfortunately, it has one MAJOR flaw: There's not enough space above drawers themselves. This causes two major problems: Problem 1: While this cabinet holds hanging folders just fine, it doesn't have space for organizing tabs stick up from the hanging folders. I tried putting some on the folders, and whenever I pulled out the cabinet or pushed them in, the organizing tabs got stuck or jammed. I had to write with a sharpie on the folders to keep track of what is in each folder. Problem 2: This also means that the folders at the -back- of the cabinet are very difficult to reach. You can't really reach in and pull out a folder from the back because there's not enough space. The solutions are not terribly good either: Pull the drawer out quickly with a fast stop (so that the folders slide forward towards you), or in my case I took a hanging folder an taped it to the furthest place in the drawer I could reach easily. This way it's basically like having a shorter-length drawer (which means less space for holding files). All in all, I would NOT recommend this if you use filing tabs on top of your hanging folders or are clear about wanting to use the entire file cabinet. Since it's already put together and was inexpensive, I'll keep it and use it sparingly as it is. I would never buy this again though. This would have been a 5-star review if they had literally just added a 1/2 inch space above each drawer. Unfortunately, the reality is that little shortcoming in design makes a HUGE difference in practical usage of this file cabinet.
