growing up in Europe, i learned that Krups products are high quality. So when my grinder did not grind all the coffee beans, found some whole beans after grinding, i discovered this one is "made in China ", so quality compromised. Then i ordered a Bodum grinder (also a quality European brand), but much to my displeasure, see that this one is also "made in China"! With both grinders, Amazon (or the vendor/seller) neglected to list the country where it is made, doing a disservice to the customer. Amazon: please do not hide the country where the item is made!
