Bests & Worsts Reviews from Amazon

I actually wasn't having any issues pinning or following until last night but I had been noticing freezing issues (whether I clicked on a posting or not) when the Pinterest site began using video content/format in some of the pins . Then, like other reviewers, I received notifications to update the Pinterest app but could never find the update. After unsuccessfully trying to fix this app issue myself, I contacted Amazon this morning. If I correctly understand what the rep was saying, the reason behind the Pinterest app being dropped from Amazon is that it takes an unknown amount of memory to download the Pinterest app updates and there is an unknown frequency for keeping up with any future updates. Because the Kindle Fire has a limited amount of memory, Amazon opted to drop the App so that our Kindles don't all crash. This sounds like a compatibility issue on both ends and I am not going to hold my breath for a quick solution. I will try using Pinterest through the Fire's internet and see how that goes. I am sad because Pinterest is my favorite app. Perhaps it time for me to start considering an alternative device that would be more compatible.
