Bests & Worsts Reviews from Amazon

I saw a lot of conflicting reviews on these pillowcases, and I like to think I am a savvy buyer. The majority of the reviews were positive, and I thought to myself "how bad could they really be?" I received the two pillowcases and immediately washed them. They felt normal when coming out of the packaging, not too soft and not too hard. After one wash though, they were as hard as crumpled up paper. They were not enjoyable to sleep on, and basically took all the softness out of my body pillow. Also, after ONE wash, one of the cases had ripped at the seam. Really? One wash? Don't buy.
