This kettle's whistle went kaput within weeks of owning, it then developed a small but detectable leak near it's spout and finally showed signs of corrosion on the interior bottom. The lid is very badly fitted and you will need strong strong hands to remove it after a few months of service. It is less than two years into my ownership and I would not do this again. As a premium priced product this performance is not acceptable. Not sure what the warranty says but I am sure this is heading to the trash.
