I received my Stay and Play yesterday and quickly began set-up, following the manual instructions. When I plugged in the transmitter base, nothing happened. No blue "on" indicator light as advertised, so I consulted the troubleshooting area of the manual after trying another outlet and ensuring the adapter was securely plugged in the the base and wall outlet to no avail. The manual has a specific area for just this problem. The answer? Call customer service, so I did. The representative told me that it is an adapter issue but PetSafe does not cover it in the warranty, so it would be a $15 replacement charge. I was stunned, and so reiterated that it just arrived hours before. His response was to "return it to whatever retailer you bought it from then". I will. What I will also do is find another company that has reliability and integrity. Thank goodness Amazon stands by products even when manufacturers don't!!
