★★☆☆☆
I wouldn't give $25 for this chair
Pros:
Lightweight
Has a foot rest
Has a zippered storage bag attached to armrest with an additional two pockets with a Velcro closure
Has a cutout for your face when you lie flat on your stomach
Cons:
Poorly constructed of cheap materials
Price
Carrying strap isn't very useful for actually carrying the chair
I love the idea of being able to kick back and put my feet up at the beach. This chair had so many nice features that I went against my better judgement and ignored the many complaints of other reviewers and purchased it. I wish I hadn't. First of all, it appears to be something you can pick up at Walgreen's in the seasonal aisle. It is that cheaply made. The cup holder was broken, probably during shipping, but the box was not damaged. Regardless, it was such a flimsy material that it was worthless to begin with *see photos. Secondly, it's supposed to hold 275 lbs. Maybe it would hold a 275 lb mannequin that was lowered to chair, but even a 175 lb person will be wondering if it will collapse with any movement what so ever. It's difficult to enter and exit the chair regardless of the position.
The bracket under the armrest that allows the chair to change positions is bent on one side *see photos. While trying to close it despite this defect, I was rewarded with pinched fingers.
If this chair can't hold up for a test sitting upon arrival, there is no way I'm trusting it on vacation, especially for the price. I have a Tommy Bahama chair that is made exceptionally well and is extremely comfortable. I guess I will stick to that brand and will be returning this.
