I'm almost 2 1/2 years into owning this vacuum.. and it's junk. Almost every time I use it the hose breaks in a new spot and I have wrap it in duct tape. The pet hair power brush was great for my sofa but only lasted a few weeks. it's super top heavy and clumsy to use. I have a smallish 2 bedroom apt in Manhattan and no kids or pets so it's not been worked very hard but looks and acts like a much older, much abused machine.
