It arrived in pristine condition no scratches, nothing was bent, every single fin was straight. Setup and installation was easy, a little I'll fitting but nothing I could manage. It cooled my room quickly. Was less noisy than the previous Frigidaire model that was replaced. And 24 hours later ... A loud buzz. Not "I have to turn the volume up in my TV loud, I mean it literally sounded like I turned on a lawnmower in my room. I literally couldn't hear my own voice when it scared me so bad I was yelling. tripped it's own power supply. Now the air conditioner function won't fuction without that horrifying buzz. When the compressor kicks in my whole neighborhood can hear it. That loud. But it's not the compressor ... or the compressor alone. Can't keep the cool on but the fan function works fine. I just have to do more research on another air conditioner. If this is Frigidaire's quality control, it's horrible. I don't blame Amazon for the air conditioner quality or the incident but I can't go through the hassle of returning it. These types of things are hit or miss.
