I wish companies like this would spend half as much on making the device actually do what it says it's going to do as they do on the design and packaging for it. This is a slick-looking little device. It immediately paired with my Wi-Fi network. When I tested the sensor in water it worked. But when I ran the utility from within the app to check on the quality of the connection, the app could not find the sensor. It didn't matter if I was on 4G or on my home Wi-Fi network. As a result, the widget doesn't work either. It just says that there are no devices. And yet, if I drop a little bit of water on the sensor, it triggers. Is this system reliable enough? I don't know. On the one hand it beeps, on the other hand it says that it's not on the network. No matter what, the widget doesn't work. I am using it on an Android 7 phone. Update: lowering rating to 1 star. Hardware randomly disconnects from the network, and there's no way to test it other than to go dip the sensor in water. Just not an acceptable product. No software "updates" make a bit of difference. FOR WHAT YOU ARE GOING TO GET YOU OUGHT TO JUST SEND THEM A CHECK, BECAUSE WHAT YOU GET FROM THEM IS GARBAGE.
