I had a Sunbeam warming blanket, but after 2 years it stopped working. I had heard that these were much better blankets so I dropped the extra money to get this blanket. After only a couple months of use I started feeling a burning when my feet were down by the plug, but I didnt think anything of it untill the tempature selector stopped working so i checked the blanket to make sure it was plugged in. Thats when I saw the burned & exposed wiring & plug. I have been using warming blankets for over 30 years & this is literally the only time that I have had one burn me or seen this kind of problem. If you like electrical burns then buy this blanket, but as for me, Im going back to a Sunbeam. A cheaper blanket that lasts years instead of months & isn't going to burn me ot start a fire sounds like a much better deal to me!
