When I bought this, took one look at it, I was afraid that I just got scammed into buying Apple Cider vinegar (a natural, cheap way to get rid of Fruit Flies). However, I laid out the traps and, to my surprise, they didn't work at all. Fruit Flies did not even bother them. However, I laid out a few small cups of simple Apple Cider Vinegar and, lo and behold, within a day, all the fruit flies were floating dead inside the cups. In fact, I put a small cup of Apple Cider vinegar next to a trap, and it proved more effective than the trap by far. Folks, now that I educated myself a bit, I found that there are a lot of Apple Cider vinegar scams on Amazon, selling you simple Apple Cider vinegar for $10, $15, or $20. At least those products are as effective as the vinegar. These traps were not as effective at all for me. Even if they were effective for you, you're still wasting your money. Buy yourself a $3 bottle of Apple Cider Vinegar, and use that instead.
