WARNING- this chair is a victim of shrinkflation!!!! I bought it in 2017 with my first baby almost exclusively because it had the highest back I could find. My hubs and I are very tall. I’ve used that chair for two years daily and it’s still silent, gliding well, held its shape, and has been an excellent nursery chair. I just had another baby and we ordered another. It’s the exact same model number but the size is much smaller! The seat height on the new one is 23.5 inches (vs 25.5 on the old), the whole chair is MUCH more narrow. The width at arm level on the new one is 25 inches vs almost 29 on the other. This makes nursing less comfortable and it’s a little more awkward using a nursing pillow. It’s far less comfortable for my husband as well. The price this year when we bought was significantly HIGHER despite the insane shrinkflation, which is super sketchy and annoying on behalf of DaVinci. So even though I’d give the original chair 5 stars I can’t rate this company or the new product any higher. Shame!
