After over 6 frustrating hours trying to get this thing to work (two phone calls to ScreenBeam tech support were useless) I found according to both Verizon and Motorola, Google/Android dropped support of Miracast several versions back. Google/Android now only supports its own product called Chromecast. The Verizon Knowledge Base article I found about Miracast support is wrong as is all the advertisement about this and other products claiming support for Miracast in current versions of Google/Android.
