Don't become an impulsive buyer for OroGold. Check it out first....
I am at Hawaii while writing this review. Just like many other reviewers, I got into this scam trap but I survived. The store in Hawaii Hilton Village is beautiful and elegant. I got drawn to the store and 3 sales people allured me further. Once of them gave a free sachet sample of a peel. Another asked me to step inside and said I can try another very good sample. When I stepped inside the store, he said today is your lucky day since our promotions end today and the kit I am showing to you is my last kit. He said people had been lining up to buy this kit and the store has been very busy. This caught my attention with caution since I passed by the store a few times while going to the adjacent ABC store. Every time I passed by, there was nobody there in the store. Now, the sales man applied the peel on my wrist. And, wow I was impressed to see some white solids coming out of the lotion he applied. I thought since I had so much of ocean activity, it is the burnt skin peeling off. He also said that it takes care of rosacea of face. He applied some peel on one of my cheeks. Again something came off after he rubbed the solution on my cheek. But I immediately understood- it cannot peel off the skin so fast and it cannot be the miracle treatment. And, I was right. The sales person was trying to pitch me the product very hard. He said the peel itself was for $299 but since I am so good looking and today is my lucky day and he likes my skin etc.etc. he will give me 2 products for $299. By this time, I was getting irritated by his false statements of appreciation and I declined to buy. Immediately he added another small tube to the package. He scratched a card and added another piece of discount. When I declined he started saying that a pretty person like me should not think of money and buy good products like OroGold etc. Then he added a big tube of body mist and then he added another box of Gold peel. So instead of giving me one product in $299, now he was trying hard to sell me 5 products for $299. Obviously I did not buy any thing, thanks God, I resisted the temptation. I told the sales person that I want to see how it suits my skin and then I will come int he morning, if I feel it suitable for my skin type. And, immediately he got very upset that I did not buy any thing and that I am a miser etc...
I came to my hotel room and saw that my cheek where he applied the product had turned red and had bumps as a reaction to this product already.
I would like to warn customers not to fall into the sales tricks of this this product. Just like other reviewers said, the sales team is trained to sell you off very quickly without giving you time to think. They are very aggressive. Please do apply your common sense and trust them only after verification of the product- how does it feel, price, sales gimmicks etc.
I am glad that I did not waste my money. I thank the reviewers for sharing their stories. After I read them, many of them resonated my experience.
Thanks,
Sue
