I bought two of the scooters for 6 and 8 yr old boys birthdays. Upon arrival I followed the directions and recommendations of other reviewers and charged them exactly 24 hrs. The boys unwrapped them on the big day and jumped on and took right off with no problem. After approximately 30 minutes the batteries died. We tried charging them afterwards and neither one will take a charge. The boys dad is an electrical engineer and put a scope on each battery and charger and determined the chargers were good, but the reading on both batteries were all over the place which means they are no good. After reading the instructions about the battery it says they have to be charged once a month whether they are used or not. I'm sure these scooters have been sitting around for well over 30 days before I purchased them so I'm not sure what that's all about. Since the instructions specifically say to contact Razor, not where purchased from, for any repairs or replacement will be calling them. I will review again once I speak them....
